Nope, you don't need to worry about this. As per standard, any new users created on Mafia Universe will have their online visibility turned off. I.e. you cannot see when a certain user is online, unless they actively go into their settings and turn this on.

How it works is that the players themselves vote on who they felt was the best player. They don't have to write a reasoning. But usually they have to deliver their vote/rating within a week or so.

 

And then there's a jury that also picks some "wildcards". They also don't publicize their explanations (because that would take a long time, and it could lead to drama and people arguing) - they just post their choices with a general explanation of their process. But I can say that the jury has every year been very serious about their commitment and often spend hundreds of hours on this.

Whatever the outcome, as a community we're truly grateful for your time here. The whole Mafia Championship project is something remarkable, really. I'm sure our users are just unsurprisingly aware of the amount of work behind the tournament, myself included. Most of us are probably afraid of spoiling it by being unable to follow every required stage in its entirety.

I will say this: There have been several couples formed from the Championship. One of them is a man from USA and a woman from Norway, and he moved to Norway, married her, and they just had a baby a few months ago
